About Me
I am based in Amsterdam and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
Over the last ~19 years, I have worked across investment banking, market making, and quantitative trading environments, designing and owning software systems that operate at scale and under strict reliability and performance constraints.
My work has primarily focused on platform and framework development: internal deployment systems, release orchestration, QA automation frameworks, and data pipelines that support thousands of users and tens of thousands of machines. These systems were built to be boring, predictable, and easy to operate, even under stress.
I frequently work at the intersection of engineers, quants, data and infrastructure teams, translating domain requirements into technical designs and driving alignment across stakeholders.
I care deeply about long-term maintainability, clear ownership boundaries, and reducing cognitive load for teams.
Today, I continue to deepen my knowledge by learning Rust, particularly for performance-critical components and infrastructure tooling, while using Python as a productivity multiplier for platforms and data systems.
